On the 20
th of January, the workshop “
How to design and launch financial engineering measures using ERDF (European Regional Development Fund)” was held at the premises of
EnLabs in Rome.
The event was organised by
META Group within the framework of its
Innovation Lab, the initiative addressed to civil servants and innovation intermediary company managers for disseminating innovative tools and management tips in the domains of Entrepreneurship, Finance, Technology Transfer and Clustering.
This unique intensive and learning experience included a session with European financial engineering professionals to provide participants with operational “ready to use” tools and practical information to significantly reduce the “time-to-market” of new measures while ensuring accountable and effective design by a strategic and operational perspective. During the workshop, a preview of the new programming period 2014-2020 was also given to the attendees.
According to the participants, the Innovation Lab has been an interesting and positive experience as it offered the opportunity to “take a look at Venture Capital within the next EU programming period” and it gave the chance to “learn on how to manage financial instruments to support innovation” as well.
