Financial instruments are increasingly used to provide support from the EU budget. Under certain conditions, they may represent a better way to spend public money as they offer two specific benefits. These are mobilising additional private and public money to complement initial public funding and re-using the same funds over several cycles.
The “EU Financial Instruments – A High-Level Conference 2016″ will start at 10am CET, on 15 November 2016.
Notably, speakers and panellists will discuss questions such as “how to implement financial instruments at a reasonable cost”. Furthermore, they will talk about “how to attract capital from the private sector in a successful manner” and “how to ensure the revolving effect of these instruments”.
In addition, Luigi Amati, Co-Founder and CEO of META, will take part in the “Management fees and costs: How to implement financial instruments at a reasonable cost?” panel. This panel will be moderated by Martin Weber, Director of Chamber II, European Court of Auditors.

La conferenza “EU Financial Instruments – A High-Level Conference 2016” inizierà il 15 novembre 2016 alle 10:00 CET. Gli strumenti finanziari sono sempre più utilizzati per fornire sostegno dal bilancio dell’UE.
In determinate condizioni, possono rappresentare un modo migliore per spendere il denaro pubblico, in quanto offrono due vantaggi specifici. Fra questi si possono nominare la mobilitazione di denaro pubblico e privato aggiuntivo per integrare il finanziamento pubblico iniziale e il riutilizzo degli stessi fondi per più cicli.
Relatori e relatori discuteranno di questioni quali “come implementare gli strumenti finanziari a costi ragionevoli“. D’altrove, si parlerà pure su “come attrarre capitali dal settore privato in modo efficace”. Un’altra questione importante sarà “come garantire l’effetto rotativo di questi strumenti”.
Luigi Amati, cofondatore e amministratore delegato di META, parteciperà all’incontro “Commissioni e costi di gestione: Come implementare gli strumenti finanziari a un costo ragionevole?”. La moderazione sarà realizzata da Martin Weber, Direttore della Sezione II della Corte dei conti europea.
